Whew!! tonight’s work out was another circuit and boy did it kick my booty and make me work up a sweat in like 2.5 seconds! It was a little easier than the 1st one, but only slightly, I’m a sweaty mess! Here’s what I did:
Workout:
Circuit 1
Dumbbell Back Row – 8lbs – 15 reps
Static Lunges – 25 each leg
1 min cardio – treadmill – level 10 incline; 5.5 speed
Circuit 2
Dumbbell Row – 8lbs – 15 reps
Hamstring Curl – 15 reps
Step Ups – 20 reps each leg
1 min cardio – treadmill – level 10 incline; 5.5 speed
Circuit 3
Crabwalk 10 steps forward; Reverse plank – 10 leg lifts; Crabwalk backwards; Reverse plank – 10 leg lifts
Superman – 20 reps
I min Cardio – Mountain Climbers
Circuit 4
Pendulum Lunges w/ Hammer Curls 10 reps – lunge forward w/ Right leg, lunge backward with right leg – repeat on left side – this equals 1 rep
Static Lunges
1 min Cardio – Mountain Climber
Circuit 5
Pelvic Thrust w/ Leg up – 10 per side
Toe Touch Crunches – 20 reps
1 min Cardio – Mountain Climber
Jogged around the neighborhood for about 10 mins.
Here are the rest of the eats from the day….Later in the morning I had some Pumpkin Spice Tea w/ Soy Creamer (32 cal)
Lunch: Lunch was the same as yesterday – leftover curried lentil + sweet potatoes (250 cal). And on the side, I had an Arugula salad with a radish, 2 mushrooms, avocado, 1/2 Roma tomato, 1/4 cucumber. I topped with a little balsamic dressing – 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp olive oil, 2 tsp Dijon mustard and a dash of dried dill (130 cal).
A little while later, I had 1/2 banana w/ peanut butter….peanut butter rocks! (125 cal)
Before heading to the gym for my workout with Julie. I snacked on this luna bar (180 cal):
Dinner: I got off work later than usual and then worked out, so for dinner I wanted something quick. So I sautéed a few Gardein Beef Tips, cut up part of an English cucumber and a little bit of dessert – pumpkin cheesecake (225 cal)
Calories: Total from today approx 1302 cal
