On to today’s eats and events….
Workout: I started the day off with a nice workout while reading my Shape magazine
5 min warm-up on treadmill
30 min on stationery bike – resistance level 2
5 min cool down on treadmill
I had hoped to go for a run after work, but ended up attending a little holiday reception for the volunteers at our Church
Breakfast: Stove top oats were on the menu this morning. Here’s what I used:
1/2 cup oats
splash of vanilla soy milk
1 Tbsp Living Harvest Hemp Protein Powder
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
a few drops of vanilla creme stevia
Lunch - Today, I had the rest of my leftovers from our glorious dinner at Grass Root. I mean, I don’t know why I forgot to snap a photo of today’s eats. I also added some spinach and 1 roma tomato and ate it like a salad. Delish!
I also packed some cucumbers, cauliflower and 1/4th avocado to eat along side my leftovers.
Dinner – Dinner was a little late tonight because we had attended a little Christmas reception for the volunteers at church. There they had all kinds of sweet treats - cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, cookies, etc. They did have a great fruit tray and that’s what I snacked on.
I had a little bit of pineapple, apple, canteloup, grapes and a strawberry. I also sipped on some apple cider.
When we got home, I fixed the hubby some dinner and made myself taco that includes: 2 gardein chink’n crispies, some avocado, cucumbers, spinach, goat cheese and salsa
Dessert: 1 graham cracker rectangle
Snacks: 1 Medium Banana
We just finished watching the Top Chef finale and I really was hoping that Kevin was going to pull out the win, but kind of deep down thought they’d choose Bryan. Love this show. Alright – I’m off to bed.
Peace out.
