Eats + Events of the day….
Breakfast: Bagel (200 cal) + 2 tsp of PB ( 70 cal)
Snack: Sweet and Salty Chex Mix 1.5 servings (195 cal)
Dinner: The hubby was watching a movie and they kept talking about Chinese food and so I got this serious craving for it, so we ordered take out for dinner. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup and Egg Roll + Wine.
We haven’t eaten Chinese in ages so, we weren’t sure where we should order. And it can be a little scary. To me, that’s one of the hardest things to find – a really good chinese restaurant. Trust me, I’ve sampled many and some have been awesome and some have been gross. When I lived in Cartersville, GA we used to go to this great one – New China. It was owned by a family and their kids went to school with us. Man, me and my sister always talk about that restaurant and we still compare every other one to that. The only other one that has compared to that is one we ate in New York that my dad used to take customers to. That place rocked.
So we ordered from Kwan Ming and it was pretty good.
I had about 1/3 of my Kung Pao, 1/2 of my soup, 1/2 egg roll. Probably about 2.5 glasses of red wine. Not even sure about the calories.
We also got some fun pics of Bentley this weekend….he’s so funny. It’s been a little cold this weekend and he’s been crawling back into his little bed. It’s awesome…he has a mind of his own. too cute.
I did some laundry and hit the gym this afternoon -
Workout:
- warm-up 10 mins walking on the treadmill
- Run: 7 mils (68:20) + .25 woo-hoo!!!
- Cool down: 10 min walking on treadmill
I also did a little laundry and did a little cleaning. We’re taking down all of our Christmas decorations on Sunday.
After dinner we thought we’d watch a flick. So, we watched Rachel Getting Married with Anne Hathaway. It was a great movie. I really enjoyed seeing her in a very dramatic role. It showed a family that has lots of issues, pretty real. I would definitely recommend this film.
