Breakfast: This morning we woke up to some chilly weather in Tampa, so I really wanted something warm and comforting and instantly thought of oatmeal.
Stove top oats (used 1/2 cup dry) + 1/2 strawberries + 2 almonds (197 cals)
Snack: Brownies x2 (258 cals), 5 dried apricots (92 cals), 10 almonds (69 caks) (Total - 419 cals) – Eaten throughout the day, not all at once.
Lunch: Tall sugar-free vanilla soy latte (130 cals) + Lentil Soup (195 cals) + pretzel crisps (82 cals) + 1/2 cup strawberries (23 cals) (Total 431 cals)
Dinner: 1/2 whole wheat pita +1 egg and 1 egg white + spinach + tomatoes + Hummus + dijion mustard (239 cals). I also had 2 mini reese’s (90 cals)
Total Calories: 1376 cal
Workout: My plan was to get a run in on the treadmill after work, but I decided not to push it and let my hip rest another day. So, I wanted to do something, so I did the bike and read my new book for bookclub The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
- Warm-up – 5 mins on treadmill – walking
- Workout – 45 mins on stationery bike
- Cool-down – 3 mins on treadmill – walking
The hubby and I are just hanging out and watching some TV. Rigth now it’s on The Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo – it’s my guilty pleasure.
Then it’s off to bed….peace out.
