Oh-My-Goodness! Today was probably like the best Dr’s office visit in my entire life! I headed back to the Chiropractor this morning to work on my hip. The massage therapist worked on my hip, thigh, knee and lower back. Some of it was a little painful because there are really sore and tight places he was trying to work out. But man, was it nice! He also did some stretching of my leg and hip area. I felt so much better afterwards. I go back Monday to see him again and we’ll do less massage and more stretching.
That was the highlight of my day. I was kind of anxious about the appointment, but it did me good.
Onto today’s eats….
Breakfast: Stove top oats (160) + 1Tbsp Raw TJ’s Almond Butter (105 cals) = 265 cals
Lunch: Sweet Potato fries (56 cals) + 1.25 c lentil soup – (245 cals) = 301 cals
Snacks:
5 dried apricots ( 92 cals), 2 tsp raw almond butter (70 cals) , 8 almonds (55.2 cals) = 217.2 cals
I might have snuck in a few lifesavers today….probably about 6 (60 cals)
Dinner: Pita Sandwich (337 cals) + a few Sweet Potato Fries – not shown (25 cals) – (total= 362 cals)
- Whole Wheat Pita (160 cal)
- Boca Burger (70 cal)
- Egg (70 cal)
- Avocado (30 cal)
- Spinach (2)
- Salsa (5 cal)
Dessert was 1 square of Lindt 70% Cocoa – (55 cals) not pictured and some homemade popcorn by the hubby (approx 100 cal)
Total Calories: 1360.2 cals – I really want to keep my calories around 1200 even since I’m not working out that much. For some reason, I was starving when I got home tonight. I will just need to make sure I get in more veggies next week.

- Try out a new recipe or two
- Hit the gym – at least upper body and the stationary bike
- Blog
- Research Photoshop items – I want to start learning how to edit the photos I take to make them look more professional
