Hey Y’all!
I wanted to start off by showing you my awesome little guy. It’s been so cold here lately and we moved all of our pillows together and Bentley crawled under them. Soo precious!!
Well, today has been a productive one. I did a few loads of laundry, washed the dishes, read my book, hit the gym, cleaned my closet and hung out with Bentley and the hubby for a while. Our internet has been touch-and-go since yesterday, so I couldn’t get on earlier today. So, I got a lot done on my “to-do” list! I want to research some things about photoshop, so I’m going to try and do that for about an hour or so and then maybe read a little more and call it a night. I’ve seen some cool things about enhancing your photography w/ Photoshop actions on The Pioneer Woman’s website. Can’t wait to check that out. The hubby is out watching football with the guys – so I’m hanging out with Bentley and watching some shows.
So, in case you haven’t noticed, I love the weekends! I love just being able to do what I want and love the fact I can hang out with my hubby cooking, reading, blogging – whatever. Too bad it goes by too quickly.
Here are today’s eats…
Breakfast: Stove top oats to warm me up on this cold day in Tampa – 1/2 cups oats with a splash of soy milk (approx 170 cals) + 1 Tbsp Almond Butter (105 cals)
Lunch: 1 1/3 cups stew + 1/2 cup Brown Rice (Approx 251 cals). This is so yummy and comforting. I could eat easily eat this again for dinner. So hearty and flavorfull. I love soups and stews probably because my mom always made soup for us in the winter time – a whole big batch. Reminds me of home…man, I miss my mom!
Snacks: After church I snacked on a serving (1/2 cup) of Bold Chex Mix (120 cals) while getting lunch ready
Cucumbers + 1 Tbsp Hummus (Approx 40 cals)
1/2 bar before and 1/2 bar after work out (210 cals)
