Hey there!
After work today, I decided to do some yoga, which I haven’t done in forever. Since hurting my hip, I am trying to make a conscience effort to incorporate tons more stretching into my daily life. So, instead of hitting the gym tonight, I hit my mat for an intense workout. I decided on my P90X Yoga DVD. And boy was it tough. I haven’t done this in forever, and I think I’ve only ever done it once. But this is not for beginners. I mean, there are some really tough moves. But I did what I could today and will work towards the rest in time. It lasted 90 mins and I felt good once I was done. I can’t wait to do this more and more so I become toned and more flexible.
Workout: 90 mins of P90X Yoga
I feel good. Now, here are today’s eats….
Breakfast: Stove top oatmeal – 1/2 cup oats, splash of light vanilla soy milk (165 cals), 1 Tbsp TJ’s raw almond butter (95 cals) – total: 260 cals
Chai Spiced tea w/ 2 Tbsp light vanilla soy milk (approx 10 cals)
Snack: 1 banana (90 cals)
cukes + hummus (40 cals)
1/2 cup – 1 serving – chex mix (120 cals)
Lunch: 1 cup of Morrocan Chickpea Stew (approx 125 cals)
A couple hours later, I ate the rest of my lunch – a big salad
Arugula (8 cals), broccoli (4 cals), 3 strawberries – sliced, (12 cals), 1 Tbsp Avocado (30 cals), 1 Tbsp hummus (35 cals), mushrooms (12 cals) – total= 101 cals
Dinner: Graham crackers(150 cals) + AB (63 cals) – 213 cals
Dessert: 1/2 cup S’mores ice cream (175 cals)
Total Calories: 1207 cals
