That’s my theme right now. This morning, I made myself get up this morning and get to the gym. After receiving yesterday’s wedding invitation, I’m on a mission to do as much as I can before my friends wedding so I will look my best.
Workout: Yesterday, I saw the post Gina from The finessista posted on her site and decided to try this out today.
Day 1: Shoulders, Chest and Triceps
- Warm Up: 5 minutes of cardio
- Overhead press
- Dips
- Push-ups
- Planks
- Lateral Raise
- Cable Tricep Extension
- Stability Ball Leg lifts
After work, I headed back to the gym. I had planned on doing the stationary bike, but it was taken, so here’s what I ended up doing:

30 mins walking on treadmill – adding incline of 3

15 mins stationary bike – Resistance at 3
Here are today’s eats….
Breakfast: 1 egg + 1 egg white, 1 Tbsp Avocado, 3/4 Tbsp Hummus (152 cals)
I also had 2 cups of tea today w/ 1 Tbsp of silk soy cream per cup (30 cals)
Snack: 1 small banana (90 cals)
40z. unsweetened applesauce (50 cals)
1 Ghiradelli 70% dark square (77 cals)
Lunch: 3/4 c broccoli florest, 1/2 c chickpeas, 3/4 c zuchinni + peanut sauce (245 cals)
Peanut sauce:
- 1 tsp pb + 1 tsp ab
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp water
Dinner: Gardein Chick’n Scallopini (90 cals) + 1 cup sauted broccoli (30 cals)
2 tsp of TJ’s raw almond butter eaten from the jar while I fixed dinner (63 cals)
Dessert: 1/2 cup vegan s’mores ice cream (175 cals)
Total Calories: 1002 calories
The hubby and I are watching Ratatouille together. This movie is adorable! I love it. We were also filling out our Passport application in anticipation of our trip to Mexico in March. I’m so excited. We’re going to finish the moview and then it’s off to bed…night y’all.
