Friday we decided to make it a date night and get a little dressed up and go out to dinner. The hubby received a gift card to Bonefish for Christmas, so we decided to use them.
Dinner: I’ve never been there before and I was pleasantly surprised with the place. The decor was very classy and the lights were dimmed down low – nice and intimate. We started with an appetizer and had some great wine and a great meal. No dessert though – everything contained dairy.
Appetizer – Bang Bang Shrimp
Entree - Salmon + haricot verts (french green beans)
We also had some delicous wine – 2007 Smoking Loon Cabernet Sauvingnon. It was so delicoius. At first I thought it might be too dry, but as it mixed with the air, it began to taste much smoother. Delicious. We both ordered another glass.
After dinner, we came home and basically crashed out. It was a great time – great food, great wine and great conversation. Can’t complain about that.
Here were the day’s eats. No photos, my camera was dead…boo.
Breakfast: 1/2 whole wheat pita (75 cals), 1 Tbsp Avocado (30 cals), 1 egg (70 cals) – microwaved.
Total for Breakfast – 175 cals
I’ve never tried this before, but I was in a hurry. I put it in a bowl, covered it with a paper towel and microwaved for 1 min. It was fully cooked. Sweet!
I had another chiro appointment today during lunch so I didn’t get back to the office until close to 1:30 and I was starving.
Lunch: 1/2 whole wheat pita (75 cals), 1 Boca burger (original vegan) (70 cals), 1 Tbsp Avocado, Dijion mustard.
1 cup zuchinni, sliced (18 cals) + 1 Tbsp Avocado (30 cals)
1-4 oz unsweetened applesauce (50 cals)
Total for lunch – 276 cals
Snacks:
Chai Spiced tea w/ 1.5 Tbsp Silk, soy creamer (22 cals)
Lifesavers – 6 (60 cals)
Workout: None
Total Calories: Not sure with dinner, but probably over 1200
