Back On Track!

Hey y’all!  Well, today I’m back to keeping track of my eats and hitting the gym.

This morning I was up and at ‘em early.  I’m hoping my hip is getting better so that I can start running again.  I originally signed up for Gasparilla to run the 15k, in hopes that I would’ve already completed another 5k race.  Unfortunately, that has yet to happen due to hurting my ITband.  So, I emailed the people that are in charge of Gasparilla and asked to be dropped down to the 5k division.  I was dissappointed at first, but the more I thought about the more I’m ok with it.  I want my first race to be an exciting one and one that I know I can complete.  So, I’m hoping to get back to it this weekend….

Workout:

  • 6 min warm-up – walking on treadmill
  • 60 min Stationary Bike – 1:1 Intervals – lvl 3 then lvl 7
  • 6 min cool down – walking on treadmill

Breakfast: ½ cup stove top oatmeal with 1 Tbsp PB and 1 egg white mixed in (271 cals) + a few Pecans (approx 75 cals)

Snack: Fiber One Bar (140 cals)

Lunch: Amy’s Samosa Burrito (250 cals) + 1 serving of Food Should Taste Good Jalepeno chips (160 cals)

Snack: 2 Tbsp Original Hummus Tahini (58 cals), 6 pcs Blk & Green Chocolate (110 cals)

Dinner: 1 egg + 1 egg white, 2 pcs Jennie-O’s Turkey Bacon, 1 oz soy blue cheese, 3/4 cup broccoli + 1 Tsp PB not pictured (210 cals)

I’m going to make some Oatmeal Raisin cookies and then hang out with Bentley Scratchy Pants! I’ll add 100 cals for my oatmeal cookie I know I’m going to have.

Total Calories: 1374 cals
