Hey y’all! Hope you had a good Tuesday! Mine was pretty good. Right now, Bentley Scratchy Pants and I are hanging out watching the The Millionaire Matchmaker.
Guys! Can I just say that I totally thought I was there…like my hip was finally healing and so much better and thought I would run strong. I was going to start with just one mile today. And I did to it, but it wasn’t smooth like it should be and it was a little painful. I kind of paid for it afterwards…I did ice a little afterward. Super frustrating when you want to do something so bad, but your body won’t allow it. I’m going to do some more icing and stretching later. I want to keep positive, but I’ve already signed up for Gasparilla and all I can think about is not being about to run it or if I do, sucking badly. What to do, what to do…
Anyway, let’s talk about happier things…like today’s eats!
I did wake up early to hit the gym. I was really excited about running that mile though.
Workout:
- Warm-up 10 min on treadmill
- 1 mile run at 6.0 then to 6.5
- Cool down – 10 min walking
- Stationary Bike – 15 min – alternating lvl 3 and 4
Breakfast: mini banana bread muffins x2 (50 cals)
1 egg + 1 egg white, 2 pcs Turkey Bacon, 1.5 Tbsp Hummus (164.50 cals)
Snack: 1 cup Almond Milk w/ vanilla extract and 2 splenda (40 cals)
Celery sticks + 2 Tbsp Hummus (60 cals)
Tall Skinny Vanilla Latte (90 cals)
Lunch: 2.5 Veggie Lovers Pizza – thin crust and w/ NO cheese (375 cals)
Dinner: 1/3 cup Chana Masala (85 cals) + 3/4 cup roasted veggies (approx 50 cals) – broccoli + cauliflower (veggies tossed w/ olive oil & roasted @ 400 degrees for about 20 mins) + 1.5 Tbsp Avocado – not pictured (30 cals)
I had 2 PB cookies after dinner – yummy!!! (approx 250 cals)
I also had a 3 pcs of chocolate (55 cals).
Total Calories: 1249.5 calories
