When I got up yesterday morning, I decided to look up some hip exercises and stretches to help with my bum hip. I found good videos and articles on Runnersworld.com. I just started subscribing to their magazine about 2 months ago because I want to be a good runner so bad. But besides that, they have really great articles and tips that anyone could use to help make your workouts stronger, which in turn, makes you stronger. I did a little research and found a good some good routines and I even did one last night.
Yesterday was a productive day. I managed to get a lot done at work and personally. I finished putting together my parents’ and sister’s Valentine Day pkgs and dropped those in the mail. I hope they’re surprised and like what I got them. Here’s a sneak peek….
So, let’s recap the day’s eats.
Breakfast: Protein Packed Smoothie (249 cals)
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 Lg handful Spinach
- 1/2 cup silken tofu
- 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 Tbsp Living Harvest Hemp Seed Protein Pwdr
- 2 Splenda
- Crushed Ice
This turned out so thick and creamy. It was so yummy with the peanut butter. I didn’t even taste the tofu. I’ll definitely make this again, probably tomorrow or Friday. It had real staying power, which doesn’t usually happen with the smoothies I make.
Muchies: 3 pcs of Maya Gold – Green & Black Chocolate (55 cals)
Celery w/ 1 Tbsp Avocado + 1 Tbsp Hummus (60 cals)
Lunch: 1 whole zuke spiralized like spaghetti + 1/2 cup chana masala + leftover roasted broccoli & cauliflower (218 cals)
I am so in LOVE with this kitchen gadget! I can’t wait to try the other ways you can use it to prepare foods!
Snack: 5 Hershey kisses (not at one sitting) – 111 cals
Dinner: Kind Bar – Apricot and Almond (170 cals) ate before our small group.
When I got home, I ate this – 1 Tbsp Avocado + 1 Tbsp Hummus + 2 slices Turkey Bacon (95 cals)
