“Strength is the ability to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands – and then eat just one of those pieces.” ****Judith Viorst
I like food quotes and quotes in general…maybe I’ll starting adding them into my daily posts…
Yesterday I was super snacky (see below). I need watch that. Although, yesterday was a super stressful and hectic day at work, which might have contributed to it just a bit….anyway onto my eats.
Breakfast: Another protein packed smoothie (249 cals)
Lunch:
1 zuchinni +1 Tbsp Hummus + 1.5 Tbsp Avocado (6+7 cals)
Amy’s Organic Indian Samosa Wrap (250 cals)

These are seriously becoming my new favorite bars! I <3 Macadamia Nuts! And the apricot really complimented the nuts (190 cals)
I had 1/2 this chocolate bar I found at Whole Foods (100 cals)
Dinner: 1 egg + 1 egg white, 1 pc Turkey Bacon, 1 cup spinach w/ a drizzle of maple sryup (122 cals)
Here’s a sneak peek of what I made last night…. We were invited to an Olympic Opening Ceremony get together at a friends place, and were encouraged to bring an International dish…so I thought it would be fun to make Baklava…vegan style. Super Delicious! And since I was focused on this treat, it definitely help keep my mind off my stressful work day! Yay for that.
There might have been some sampling as well (??? lets say 300 calories – I’m afraid to calculate it)
Total Calories: approx 1418 cals
