We slept in Saturday morning and boy was it glorious…usually Bentley wakes us up because he wants us to feed him, but even he slept in with us. Then I got up and headed to the gym to get it out of the way so I could just hang out with the hubby.
Workout:
- Warm-up – 5 mins walking on treadmill
- Hip Girdle Exercises
- 63 mins Stationary Bike
- Cool Down – 3 mins walking on treadmill
- Stretching
By the time I got back from the gym it was closing in on lunch time more than breakfast. So, I showered and then offered to go get me and the hubby some Chipotle while the hubby watched his favorite show, Flip This House.
Lunch: I had 2 Crunchy Veggie Tacos w/ black beans, grilled veggies, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce (317 cals) + chips & guacamole/salsa (approx 275 cals)
Snacks: I had 1 fun Sized kit-kat (70 cals) – not pictured + Some Maya Gold Chocolate (110 cals)
In the afternoon, we spent time finishing up our taxes, looking over our budgets and looking at some local real estate…trying to figure out a few things since our lease will be up at the end of April. Never too early to start planning what our next step will be – stay here or find something else.
For dinner, we just kind of threw some things together. I fixed the hubby some paella that a co-worker had given him – it was a boxed version, and I doctored it up by adding some turkey kielbasa. It sampled it and it was pretty good. I wanted oats for dinner
Dinner: Egg white Oatmeal (279 cals) + a few bites of kielbasa (45 cals)
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 Tbsp Raisins
- 4 walnut halves
- 2/3 Tbsp PB
- Cinnamon
- Splenda
Chai Tea w/ Almond Milk & Splenda (10 cals)
For dessert I had a couple pieces of Baklava (275 cals)
After dinner, the hubby and I watched some of the Olympics w/ Apollo Ono and then we put on the movie Gomorrah…. what an intense movie! It pretty high in one of the magazines that the hubby reads, so we picked that for our dinner + a movie night. And boy was it intense! Kind of makes you think about what other countries are really like in poorer areas and the less tourist spots. It also kind of makes you second guess bringing kids into the world. Glad we saw it, but it was crazy!!!
Then we headed to bed. It was so good to hang out with my hubby.
