Hey y’all! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was very productive and I got a good portion of my book, Memoirs of a Geisha, read and I am really enjoying it.
Can any of you relate to this quote? Boy, I sure can. I definitely am striving to be a better person on a daily basis and am glad I’m not the same the person I used to be. I think growth is good and change is good….
So, Sunday was day 2 of South Beach Diet and I’m still doing well…I haven’t eaten a sweet treat yet! 2 whole days and no slipping something in. Even though it’s only 2 days into it, I’m proud of myself for having the restraint and self discipline even when tempted with mini cupcakes and brownies! I’m Focused Man!
So, here are Sunday’s eats…I’m a little behind on the blogging.
Breakfast: 1 Serving of Roasted Almonds (170 cals) + 2 cups of Hazelnut coffee w/ Almond milk + sweet & low (20 cals)
Lunch: Chili w/ goat cheese (275 cals)
Snacks: 1 Tbsp PB (105 cals) + 2 Tbsp Hummus (60 cals)
Dinner: 2 Mini crustless Quiche (125 cals) + small bowl of chili w/ goat cheese (125 cals)
Raspberry jello (10 cals)
Total Calories: 880 calories ….
