After a beautiful weekend, it was hard to go back to work yesterday, but you gotta do what cha gotta do.
So, I’ve been getting things ready this week to go Mexico on Friday for my friend’s wedding in Puerto Vallarta! Well, last week I accidentally ripped my contact in half when I was taking them out. Which is why I ended up going to the eye doctor last week. However, it hasn’t gone smoothly as I had planned. The online company said my contact lense prescription was expired so they wouldn’t release my order. So, after being on hold with all sorts of people, I actually had to go back to the eye doctor to get fitted for contacts. I was so anxious that they wouldn’t have a pair in stock with my prescription, because that is sometimes how life rolls with me. But luckily they had a pair for me to put on and walk out with. Thank goodness because it was a struggle with my old glasses. Still hopping my new glasses come in before we head out-of-town on Friday.
So, I was actually very relieved and eventhough it was a little bit of a pain, I’m fortunate that they had an appointment that I could snag right away and contacts in stock. Yay!
Whew! Anyway….here are yesterday’s eats…
Breakfast: 1 egg + 1 egg white, 2 tsp almond butter, homemade coconut butter
Snack: 1 Soy Joy Bar
Lunch: Large Spinach Salad + celery and roasted red pepper hummus
My salad contained:
- Spinach
- Pinto bean salad
- Cucumber
- Zucchini
- Mushrooms
Then we watched a little bit of TV and then crashed out.
Workout: Stationary Bike 45 mins + stretching
