Hey y’all! My name is Lacey (the one of the left) I am 30 yrs old and just recently relocated back to Atlanta, GA after living in Florida for the past 2.5 years. My husband and I have been married for 2.5 years our journey keeps getting better and better. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but we’re trying to live life to the fullest. We also have a fur baby named Bentley a.k.a Bentley Scratchy Pants, who you will see frequently on here.


I love all things culinary, especially all things related to sweets. I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world. I mean it’s crazy. Whenever we go to a restaurant the first thing I do is look at the dessert menu. I’m constantly thinking about the next “sweet treat” I can make. What can I say, I might be a little obsessed.
With loving all foods and wanting to experiment in my own kitchen I am also faced with the challenge of staying balanced and not letting the pounds pile up and trying to take some off. So, my goal is to balance this sweet tooth with becoming a healthier and more active woman and more aware of what goes into my body. So, eventhough my love is for sweets, I am working on a way to make it healthier and better for my body.
At this point, my goal is to start documenting the new recipes that I make as a type of journal for me. I start to forget all of the great recipes I’ve made to take to various places and thought this would be a great way for me to get organized. Life gets so busy and I almost forget some of the great items I’ve made and brought for a gathering until I sit down and physically pull out my “cooked/baked” recipes file.
I also want to use this forum as a type of “accountability partner” to help me keep track of my day…what’s consumed, activities/exercise completed and then maybe some of my thoughts…who knows what else might pop up on here.
So, this blog might be a little random at first until I find my groove, so y’all bear with me. I welcome all comments and suggestions. I believe that sharing ideas with others sparks great creativity.
