			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey y&#8217;all!!  Well, I had planned on posting last night, but I was so tired by the end of the night</p>
<p>Another great perk of living at our new apartment is that they offer free personal training sessions twice a week at our gym.  So, I decided to take advantage of that yesterday.   The sessions last 30 mins and are pretty intense!</p>
<p>After work though, I was so tired and thought about canceling the appointment but then just told myself to just go and quit trying to talk myself out of it.  When, I got home, I got into my work out clothes and went to the gym to warm up and then had my session. I felt great afterwards and knew I would be happy I went.  The mind is a powerful thing and too often I let it talk me about of things!!</p>
<p>Yesterday should have been a little easier to hit the gym since the hubby was out-of-town, but for some reason it wasn&#8217;t.  Whenever he&#8217;s here, I just want to hang out but when he&#8217;s traveling, I&#8217;m usually a little more motivated, but not lately.  I can feel myself getting lazy&#8230;I mean, I&#8217;ve been trying new things lately and seeing what&#8217;s out there, but if I&#8217;m on my on and plan on going to the gym at our place, the laziness creeps on up.  Must work on that.</p>
<p><strong>Workout: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:13.2px;">5 min warm-up on treadmill &#8211; walking</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:13.2px;">27 mins on elliptical</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:13.2px;">30 min personal training session doing abs, arms, lunges and cardio</span></li>
</ul>
<p>After the gym, I came home did a little cleaning and then fixed a green smoothie for dinner:</p>

<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> I had to run some errand yesterday during lunch, so I stopped by Starbucks on the way back to the office and picked up a little sweet treat.  They were out of the mini vanilla scones that I adore so much and instead of saying NO, I opted for a mini donut&#8230;it was calling to me, I swear! I also had a tall iced skinny cinnamon dolce latte.</p>

<p>As the bad girl I am, I ate my dessert before my lunch&#8230;but you know what &#8211; life is short so you should eat dessert first &#8211; that&#8217;s my philosophy anyways.  Once I returned to work, I warmed-up my 1/2 sweet potato and ate my raw celery and cucumbers with a little avocado.  Pretty balanced meal if you ask me</p>
<p><strong>Snack: </strong>1 hard-boiled egg white.  I also had 1/2 banana with almond butter when I got home from work, before hitting the gym.</p>

		<title>Doubt Can Be a Good Thing</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey y&#8217;all! Hope you&#8217;re Monday was fantastic!  Mine wasn&#8217;t too shabby.</p>
<p>Work went well and then we had our small group after work in which we talked about Doubt.  Like doubting God is who He says He is when we walk through trials and we don&#8217;t understand why certain things happen the way they do.  Very relevant topic in my life right now.  But we also discussed that it&#8217;s ok to question and have doubts, but we must let these draw us closer to Him and not away.  And we must still recognize that God is good and has blessed us. We read about David and the many Psalms that he wrote.  He was very vocal about his frustration, yet he still praised God for who He is.</p>
<p>So, the title of this post might be a little odd, but I generally see doubt as a negative thing, but after our discussion last night, I believe it can be positive &#8211; meant to grow and challenge us where we are right in that moment.  It can allow us to discover things about who we are and what we can handle or turn the struggles into greater good for others.  Very good lesson.</p>
<p>So, with that said&#8230;on to yesterday&#8217;s eats.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="mceTemp mceIEcenter" style="text-align:left;">After work yesterday, I picked up our mail and saw shiny gold envelope in the mail with no return address.  Hmm&#8230;I thought, who&#8217;s this from?  Then I ripped part of the envelope open and saw part of a picture&#8230;couldn&#8217;t tell who it was and then opened the entire thing and it was a Wedding Invitation to my best girlfriend in Atlanta!  Woot &#8211; Woot!</div>
<div class="mceTemp mceIEcenter" style="text-align:left;">I knew she was getting married, but it&#8217;s a destination wedding and it sounded like it was just going to be family and then they&#8217;re planning on throwing a huge party later on to celebrate their marriage with everyone.  But I&#8217;m so pumped I almost jumped up and down and beamed from ear to ear.  I read the invitation twice just to make sure she was inviting us.  And it&#8217;s in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. So, I&#8217;m EVEN more excited because it&#8217;s out of the country, which I&#8217;ve never been. </div>
<div class="mceTemp mceIEcenter" style="text-align:left;">I called her right away and I&#8217;m really looking forward to it.  Of course, I told her I&#8217;d have to talk to the hubby, but basically I told her we&#8217;re coming&#8230;.because, I can&#8217;t really miss this can I?  Nope.</div>
<div class="mceTemp mceIEcenter" style="text-align:left;">So, we&#8217;re coming up with a game plan on how to make it all happen and I&#8217;m so thrilled and honored to be apart of their special day. </div>

<p> After work tonight, I headed to the gym for a workout.  Still can&#8217;t run, so I did the bike.</p>
<p><strong>Workout:</strong> </p>

<li>6 min warm-up on treadmill, walking</li>
<li>45 mins &#8211; stationary bike, Intervals &#8211; Resistance 3 and then up to 7 alternating each about 1:30.</li>
<li>Cool-down: 8 mins on treadmill, walking</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Total Calories: 1340 cals</strong></p>
